Android VPN app
Download the official Mia VPN app for Android from Google Play. It encrypts traffic to the VPN server, changes the public IP websites see, and can be started without creating a Mia VPN account.
WireGuard connection
The current Android client uses a WireGuard tunnel between your device and the selected VPN server on Wi-Fi or cellular networks.
Free to download
Install Mia VPN at no charge. Check Google Play and the app for current features and any in-app offers.
Built for everyday use
Connect quickly before browsing, messaging, streaming, or using public hotspots.

Requirements and permissions
The current app supports Android 7.0 (API 24) or later. You need access to Google Play and an internet connection. Android displays a system permission before any VPN app can create a VPN connection. Mia VPN may also request notification and feature-specific permissions; review each Android prompt before accepting it.
How to update Mia VPN
Open Google Play, search for Mia VPN, and tap Update if it is available. Enabling automatic updates helps you receive compatibility and security fixes. If the app will not connect after an update, restart it, try another network, and follow the VPN connection troubleshooting guide.
Official APK and download safety
Mia VPN does not distribute a standalone APK on this website. Google Play is the supported Android source linked by Mia VPN. Do not install “mod APK,” cracked, Trashbox, or other third-party packages: they can be altered, cannot be verified by Mia VPN, and will not receive support here.
Android VPN questions
Do I need an email or Mia VPN account?
No Mia VPN user registration is needed to start. The app still creates an installation/device identifier for service and analytics functions, and Google Play may require the Google account normally used by your device.
Do I need a subscription?
Access and offers may vary by region and app configuration. The Android client supports weekly, monthly, and yearly subscription plans; Google Play and the in-app paywall show the current eligibility, trial, price, and renewal terms before purchase.
Is Mia VPN completely anonymous?
No VPN can promise complete anonymity. A VPN changes your visible IP and protects traffic to its server, but websites may still recognize signed-in accounts, cookies, or browser characteristics. Read what a VPN hides.
