MIA VPN

A private browser for temporary sessions

A browser inside Mia VPN

Mia VPN brings a VPN connection and a built-in browser together on your phone. Open the app and connect, then use the browser entry when it is available in your version. The browser is designed for a temporary session rather than building a permanent browsing history inside the app.

This is different from the VPN tunnel. The tunnel protects traffic to the VPN server; temporary browsing controls the website state retained inside the app’s browser. Neither makes you invisible to a site you sign into.

Ending a session

Use the browser’s explicit end-session or clear-session control when you finish. Merely switching to another app or locking the screen is not the same as ending the session. Read the confirmation shown by your installed version before clearing.

Situation What to expect
Browsing within a session Websites may use cookies and temporary site storage while the session is open.
Ending a session The browser is designed to discard its session history, cookies, cache and site data.
Moving to another app Do not assume backgrounding immediately ends or clears the session.
Opening a link in another browser The destination browser applies its own history, cookie and privacy settings.
Downloading or sharing a file Copies outside the session are not removed by clearing browser data.
Signing into a website The service can identify the account and retain activity on its own systems.

The iPhone browser uses temporary website storage. Android uses WebView cleanup when its browser session is destroyed, including cookies and shared website data. Device/OS behavior, crashes and copies outside the browser can affect what remains. Session cleanup is not a guarantee of irreversible forensic erasure.

Beyond ordinary private browsing

Ordinary incognito/private modes also reduce local history retention. Mia VPN combines a temporary browser with the app’s VPN connection, which can make that workflow convenient. Convenience is not proof that every tracker or fingerprint is blocked.

Browser versions and available controls differ by platform. This page does not promise universal ad blocking, fingerprint spoofing, malware protection or access to every website. Review controls in your installed version and keep the device updated.

Use it with clear expectations

Use HTTPS and do not ignore certificate warnings. Check the destination before entering credentials. Avoid real payment or account information in demonstrations, and do not assume session clearing removes data already submitted to a site.
